City Nature Challenge at Caldy Valley Nature Park

When?

Sunday 27 April 2025, 10am - 12pm

Where?

Meet at the pond in Caldy Nature Park, Chester (postcode to car park is CH3 6SD or what3words ///then.rocket.mouth). Note - this is Caldy Valley in Chester (not Wirral!)

What?

Take part in the City Nature Challenge, and help us achieve our goal of 10,000 wildlife observations for Chester in this wildlife recording event. Drop-in to chat to Friends of the Earth Volunteers and enjoy a lovely walk around the park whilst recording wildlife. We can teach you how to use the iNaturalist app and will bring some nets for bug hunting if you want to borrow one. All ages welcome!

Top tip!

To get the most out of this event we encourage you to download the free iNaturalist app and make an account ahead of the day. The app will give suggestions as to the species of plants or animals you’ve photographed, so you don’t need to worry about being able to identify them.
